About Jennifer:
Jennifer Gershberg is a former professor, campus speaker, and course creator. Through her talks, she helps prospective and current college students build competence and confidence by teaching them the skills and perspectives they need for academic and professional success. Jennifer won numerous teaching awards while at the University of Maryland, including the highly coveted Allen J. Krowe Award for Teaching Excellence, and has been a guest on multiple podcasts, including Real Housewives of New Jersey Margaret Josephs’ “Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget.” She attended Cornell University and the George Washington University Law School.
Jennifer’s speaking career is a product of her concern for student wellbeing. In her capacity as a professor, she observed a notable decline in student competencies and mental health following the pandemic. Jennifer felt compelled to connect with students throughout the country – not just in her classroom – to broaden her impact. Now, Jennifer teaches students how to build their networks, manage their time, study effectively, and approach their lives with a service mindset, meaningful engagement, and authentic confidence. Jennifer is known for her natural ease and connection with students, relatability, genuine investment in student success, and being “nurturing but tough – exactly what students need.”
